Reciprocity

Members of clubs with reciprocal privileges may visit the Watch Hill Yacht Club on a limited basis, in accordance with Club policies. Reciprocal dining requires a letter of introduction from the reciprocal club and a reservation that is approved in advance by the General Manager. Those seeking a reciprocal dining reservation should contact their local club to arrange an introduction.  The Club Office will provide a guest card for service once approved.
 

Basic Rules for Visitors and Guests 

• All guests and visitors must register at the club office to use the facilities.
• Visitors and guests must observe the Club dress code.
• Cell phones and electronic devices are not permitted on the third floor.
• Use of the Club and its facilities is a revocable privilege.
• The Club is not responsible for personal property.
• Use of the Chart Room without permission is not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted at the Clubhouse.
• Children are not permitted on the third floor, except as allowed below.

Policies

• Reciprocal Guests must obtain a guest card from the Club Office prior to service.
• Reciprocal Guests are responsible for payment via credit card at the time of service.
• Lunch is available June 15^th to August 31^st : Tuesday – Saturday  from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.  Reservations are required for parties over six.
• Dinner reservations for June 15^th – September 2^nd: Sunday through Thursday, based on availability.  Dining privileges are not available on Friday or Saturday evenings.  This includes bar or high-top seating.  Reservations are available for parties of 4 or less.  Larger parties may be accommodated at the discretion of the Manager.
• Walk-ins for dining are not permitted.
• Well-behaved children ages 8 and older may dine for dinner on Sundays and Thursdays or for any lunch service. 
• No show reservations will be charged $50 per person no show fee.
• Parking in the member parking lot is not permitted.

Attire

• Jackets are required for Gentlemen in the evening on Tuesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays in the dining room (ties are not required); Ladies-appropriate smart/casual. 
• Smart casual attire is appropriate for Sunday and Thursday evenings, at the bar, and during lunch hours. 
• Smart casual is defined as: Gentlemen’s shirts must have a collar; knee-length shorts are acceptable or slacks. Ladies must have appropriate length dresses.  No denim shorts or flip flops.

Visiting by Boat

• Moorings are available for boats up to 50 feet on a first-come, first-serve basis for Reciprocal Clubs or by prior reservation for Club Cruises for $100 per day.  Payment must be made at time of arrival.
• Launch service is provided for rented moorings and is not available for anchored boats.
• Docking at the Club on the floating dock is available on a space available basis only. Clubs must fly their burgee during their visit.
• Boats larger than 50' should reserve dockage at the Town Dock and may be reached at (401) 596-7807.
• A restroom with a shower is available for use on the second-floor deck.
• Moorings are first come first served only.  Reservations are not accepted.
