Saturday afternoon was a gorgeous time for a race, with cloudless skies and warm temperatures. Nine WH15s participated in the first August Series race, with Minx (#23) making its first Saturday appearance this year. After surveying the wind and tide conditions the race committee elected to host the race inside the bay, resulting in great breeze for spinnaker sailing. In a near repeat of the previous Saturday, the same four boats dominated two races. After an impressive performance, Tight Squeeze (#24) finished in first in both races. In the first race, Summersalt (#12) finished in second and Bahama Gal (#10) finished in third. In the second race, Hi Toots (#15)- which finished fourth in the previous race- finished second, Summersalt finished third, and Bahama Gal finished fourth.
